Fahad Abdullah ALNaimi is a Qatari entrepreneur and founder working across digital technology, e-commerce, and investment. He combines banking experience, building digital platforms, and writing on entrepreneurship, alongside ongoing involvement in charitable work and projects that serve society in Qatar and the region.
Who is Fahad ALNaimi?
Born in 1978, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Jordan. He started early in digital channels through mailing lists, forums, and online advertising, then moved into building mobile apps as smartphones spread—to serve citizens and residents in the local market.
Today he is known as founder of Ebdaa Digital Technology, owner of platforms including Mzad Qatar, Seyana.com, and Tawfeer.com, in addition to founding companies in real-estate investment, medical equipment, and import/export.
Journey in e-commerce and technology
Mzad Qatar is among his signature milestones: an online marketplace for buying, selling, and trading that grew into a leading classifieds destination for individuals and businesses in Qatar. He continues improving user experience and expanding services with modern technology.
Through Ebdaa, he also launched other everyday digital solutions such as maintenance and offers services, with a stated direction to expand the experience into new markets after completing regulatory requirements.
Corporate and banking experience
Before focusing fully on building companies, Fahad worked in banking—including R&D and e-services at Qatar National Bank (QNB), customer relations at Al Rayan Bank, and roles at other Gulf banks outside Qatar.
He also founded Sharq Commercial Investments for import/export from China since 2002, Osoul for real-estate investment, and Lancha for medical equipment, and is a certified real-estate broker.
Public service and charity
He serves as Director of the Licensing Department at the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities, with a clear commitment to community work through overseeing associations and charitable projects. This complements his profile as an entrepreneur who connects private ventures with public value.
Writer and voice
Fahad writes for Al Sharq newspaper in Qatar and shares practical insights on this blog about entrepreneurship, e-commerce, AI for business, digital investment, and Qatar & the Gulf—in a direct style focused on decisions, markets, and the commercial value of technology.
Continuous learning
